Ayami Muto announces double joy of marriage and baby on the way

31 Jan - Japanese artist Ayami Muto has delighted fans with heartwarming personal news, revealing she quietly tied the knot last year and is now expecting her first child.

The beloved performer, known for her dynamic stage presence, shared the joyful announcement on X, expressing gratitude for "being blessed with a precious life."

While keeping details of her private life under wraps - including her non-showbiz husband's identity and the baby's details - Ayami has thoughtfully planned her temporary departure from the spotlight.

Fans can catch her final pre-maternity performance on 29 March, followed by a special Blu-ray release on 29 April, before she takes a well-deserved break and prepare for her baby's birth.

The singer has reassured her supporters that this isn't goodbye, promising to return to the stage "once things have settled down."
