ARASHI establishes its own company
15 Apr - ARASHI recently announced that they have established their own company called Starto Entertainment.
The group of five, who halted their group activity since 2021, jointly announced on 10 April that they will now be managed by their own company after 25 years in showbiz.
"We want to be more independent than ever before, make more independent decisions than ever before, and act more independently than ever before. And above all, we want to feel closer to the fans who support us every day," the members said.
They added, "With this in mind, the five of us discussed the matter many times and decided to establish a company... We hope to continue preparing to envision the future, sometimes with the help of the staff who have worked alongside us up until now."
The statement is co-signed by all members; Masaki Aiba, Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomia, Satoshi Ohno and Sho Sakurai.
Prior to the new company, ARASHI was managed by Johnny & Associates.
