What are AirTags and how do they work?
AirTags became the rage when air travel was disrupted last year due to overwhelming trips and a lack of staffing resources – which led to missing luggage and disgruntled travellers.
You can pair the AirTags to your iPhone or iPad via the Find My App which is linked to your Apple ID or your friend's – then name it Luggage or a Custom Name on the app – and slip the tracker in your bag or luggage. The device is dust and water-resistant but do take note that its battery needs replacing about once a year. You can then track your luggage via 'Lost Mode' or Ultra Wideband technology on your app to receive notifications when it pings off.
