Anthony Ho surprised by TVB Awards nomination
13 Dec – TVB actor Anthony Ho recently admitted that he was surprised upon hearing that he is the favourite to win Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 TVB Anniversary Awards.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attracted viewers' attention through his role in "The Exorcist's Meter", shared that he didn't even expect to be nominated alongside other great actors, including Matthew Ho, Owen Cheung, and Louis Yuen.
"When I first heard it, I thought I was the target of a prank show. I couldn't believe it until I received the call," he said.
Anthony, who had never been nominated before, said that he won't pressure himself about his chances, and instead treat the nomination as victory.
"I'll wear white underwear for good luck," he joked.
His opponent Matthew Ho stated that he will cheer Anthony on, adding that the latter is one of his top favourites to win the award.
