Anne Curtis visits a fan's wake
14 Jun - The family members of one Charlotte Alegre were moved by Anne Curtis' kindness, when she appeared at the wake of the 19-year-old recently.
As reported on Coconuts Manila, Alegre, who passed away last week after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia, was said to be a big fan of Curtis during her life. The news of her death came to Curtis' knowledge through a viral Facebook post.
Alegre's brother Christian shared a photo of the family with Curtis at the wake online, and wrote, "She came! You are surely happy, Alot. Anne Curtis didn't fail us. She's so nice!"
He thanked all the people on Facebook who helped get his post about Alegre to Curtis, and also shared that it was in his sister's bucket list to meet Curtis and take a picture with her, which is why they decided to take a photo of the actress next to the coffin.
On the other hand, Curtis also posted a message on Twitter after her visit, saying, "Thank you to everyone that made [Christian's] post on FB viral for it to be able to reach me."
She also responded to a post by Christian, writing, "You were an instrument to making all of this happen. I'm sure your youngest sister is one happy angel. Your love as a brother has moved me so deeply."
