Angie Cheong to return to Malaysia for CNY

23 Dec – Hong Kong-based celebrity Angie Cheong recently revealed that she will return to Malaysia for the Lunar New Year.

As reported on Mingpao, the Ipoh-born actress, who hasn't come home for two years since the pandemic started, shared that she will be taking son Hanson back to spend the festive season with her family.

"He really is looking forward to returning to Malaysia. He sings "Happy Reunion" every day at home. We haven't been back for a while now because of the pandemic, and my mum misses him very much," she said.

It is noted that Angie adopted her son in 2006 when he was two years old, and raised him independently despite him suffering from a congenital heart disease.

As for work, Angie stated that she is grateful to have received lots of offers this year, and hopes that it will continue into the year 2023.
