Andy Reid Really Wore Supreme x Nike Air Force 1s for the Super Bowl
Andy Reid geared up for the Super Bowl with a shockingly hip choice in footwear.
The Kansas City Chiefs head coach wore Supreme’s black Nike Air Force 1 Lows for his team’s blowout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. This isn’t his first time wearing Supreme’s take on the Nike classic either, as he wore the white edition for the Super Bowl Opening Night, aka media day, two years ago.

Somehow, it even went under the radar that Reid wore the same black Supreme AF1 Low in the AFC Championship Game.
Reid has actually been devoted to the Air Force 1 Low since 2018, and The Athletic ran a feature story on his go-to sneaker a year later. The shoe choice has endeared him with his players, and many have even asked to get a pair of Reid’s own AF1s, which he has customized with his initials. The team equipment manager acts as a conduit between Nike to make it happen, and more renowned sneakerhead Travis Kelce counts himself as one of the owners of Reid’s personalized snekaers.
“I’m old, they’re old and we just fit,” Reid told The Athletic. “It’s funny how the old things are kind of the cool things. It might be the last little bit of cool I have. It’s run from the top of my head, with the long hair; now it’s no more hair. But I got the Air Force 1s, man. They can’t take them away.”
Despite his devotion to the Air Force 1 Low, Reid starred in a Skechers’ ad for its Slip-Ins that aired during the Super Bowl.
Supreme’s Air Force 1 Lows, which feature a tiny box logo beneath the lateral collar, debuted in 2020 and are one of few perennial items from the New York City streetwear brand. The black and white pairs regularly restock each season, and other colors have also been added more infrequently.
