Any Gilmore Girls fan knows that Lorelai and Rory have an insatiable appetite — just look to the time they ate their way through four Thanksgivings. But, it’s one thing to know and another to eat like a Gilmore. Here to help is show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, who curated a Gilmore Girls care package for MOUTH.com called “Gilmore Girls Only.”

“Amy Sherman-Palladino, creator and writer of Gilmore Girls (yep, that Gilmore Girls), put together this mother-daughter care package full of all Rory and Lorelai’s favorite foods,” the indie food company says of its product. “Yes, the popped tarts taste like ‘freedom and rebellion and independence,’ and yes, the DIY cold brew helps with ‘standing and walking and the words-putting-into-sentence doing.'”

You’ll recall how Pop-Tarts were a cornerstone of the Gilmore food group throughout the series.

So, what exactly is in this tasty delight? It consists of one chocolate and one blueberry popped tart made by Megpies, organic gummy bears made by the Organic Candy Factory, DIY cold brew kit made by Grady’s Gold Brew, beer and caramel pretzel nuggets made by Roni-Sue Chocolates, potato chips made by the Billy Goat Chip Company, Sriracha cheddar cheesy puffs made by Fuller Foods, and chocolate gingersnap cookies made by Whimsy & Spice. But actually, talk about mouth watering.

As for Sherman-Palladino’s thoughts on the care package, she’s got some good ones.

“On those awful days when the world looks bleak and hopeless, a dark hostile hell scape, basically just an outtake from Children of Men, those are the days you need a bag with a DIY cold brew kit,” she writes on MOUTH. “A bag with chocolate espresso cookies, and potato chips, and cheesy spicy puffs, and candies, and a magic product that’s combined the words ‘beer’ and ‘caramel’ and ‘pretzel nugget.’ And Megpies. Two kinds of Megpies. If you’ve never had a Megpie they’re basically what would happen if Audrey Hepburn and a pop-tart had a baby. It’s a weird visual I know, but it’s so, so good.”

Let’s put it this way: We may or may not be emotionally eating our way through this care package until there’s word about whether or not there’ll be more Gilmore Girls. But in an ideal world, we’d take the package AND more from Lorelai, Rory, Luke, Jess, Emily, Lane, and more. You can pick up your own “Gilmore Girls Only” box right here.
