Allen Dizon wins Best Actor in Dhaka

The actor named Best Actor for his role in "Bomba" at the Dhaka IFF

24 Jan – Filipino actor Allen Dizon has recently been awarded Best Actor at the 16th Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh.

As reported on PEP, the actor's victory was revealed by his manager, Dennis Evangelista on Facebook, in which he shared that the actor has won for his role in Ralston Jover's "Bomba".

He also revealed that it was Dizon's second win for the said movie, after winning a Special Jury Prize at the Warsaw International Film Festival last October.

"Thanks a lot, Allen for giving life to Pipo and for giving "Bomba" another validation. Congrats endless!," he added.

"Bomba" stars Dizon as a deaf and mute man who struggles with the difficulties of his daily life.
