Ali Lee to be promoted as TVB lead actress?

18 Nov - With so many female stars leaving the nest this year, TVB has been looking to groom new faces as its new lead actresses.

This, reportedly, includes former Cable TV personality, Ali Lee, who is set to play her first lead role in the upcoming legal drama, "Legal Strongman", alongside Alex Fong and Liu Kai Chi.

According to Yahoo! HK, the actress, who signed with TVB in 2012, has starred in various TVB dramas since her entry, including the anniversary drama, "Under the Veil".

In "Legal Strongman", Ali will reportedly play the role of Alex's protégé, who believes that it is her responsibility to fight for justice.

The new series, to begin filming in December, also stars Mandy Wong, Raymond Cho, and Kelly Cheung.
