Ali Lee will not be joining "Children's Hospital"

14 Jul – After much speculation, it was revealed that Ali Lee will not be a part of the new TVB series, "Children's Hospital".

As reported on Mingpao, rumour has it that the actress, who was originally scheduled to join the project, has now been replaced by actress Bowie Cheung, after TVB failed to provide Ali's schedule to the producer on time.

However, according to producer Ben Fong, Bowie is already cast in the said series for a different role as an anaesthesiologist and will not be replacing Ali in any way.

"It is regretful that we won't be collaborating with Ali in this drama," he added.

Ali's last drama with TVB was "Amelia's Rhapsody", which completed filming last year. She was originally slated to star in the sequel of her hit dramas "Legal Mavericks", "Big White Duel", and "Who Wants a Baby?', but was later dropped from all three of them, with TVB giving different reasons for the decision and denying that the actress was on forced hiatus.
