Aisyah Hijanah: Do not let your emotions defeat your intelligence
27 Dec - Aisyah Hijanah is not one to be toyed with, as she revealed that she has successfully made a deal with her husband Alif Teega to transfer all properties and assets they made since the beginning of their marriage to her name.
Sharing the news on social media, the 28-year-old businesswoman and social media influencer said that she hopes that her posting will help women who are dealing with a polygamous marriage just like her.
"Don't let your emotions defeat your intelligence. Do not make any decision while you were angry or sad, because it will ruin everything. That is why, the Prophet SAW had said that the strongest among us is the one who can hold back their anger," she wrote.
Aisyah stated that not all women can accept being in a polygamous marriage, but that it is important to be mindful of what is happening and how one encounter every single thing.
"All of the efforts and work built from scratch with my husband have now been fully transferred to me, including Hijanah's share, the house, the car, and other assets. Do not destroy everything because of our anger. Secure your rights and your efforts. Take note of all the joint assets and make a special agreement. If you have the money to hire a lawyer, do so... Don't give up too early," she said.
Aisyah also stressed that she is not being greedy, but that she is acting for the sake of her children.
It is noted that the issue of Aisyah's marriage turned viral earlier after husband Alif Teega admitted that he has secretly married another woman, who is also revealed to be a staff of their company, while Aisyah was 5-months pregnant with their third child.
