Adidas Has Reportedly Paused All Planned YEEZY Releases

According to reports, adidas has paused all planned YEEZY releases for the foreseeable future. The decision seemingly came about after an internal adidas memo was circulated within the team, stating that the brand wouldn't be releasing any new YEEZY drops for the remainder of the year, spanning e-com, retail and wholesale.

The memo then reportedly stated that adidas would not be shipping out any new stock, with the decision supposedly being made "at board level." The pause is set to be in effect immediately and as a result, affecting the new releases that adidas had slated for November, which was set to include the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in "Bone," "Onyx," and "Zebra" colorways along with select adidas YEEZY 500 and 700 styles.

Though reports have yet to be confirmed, the news follows the wider termination of adidas' partnership with Kanye West back in 2022, resulting in over $1 billion USD of unused YEEZY product. Following the termination, adidas executives decided to release the leftover stock, with a portion of the proceeds donated to "organizations working to combat discrimination and hate, including racism and antisemitism."

At present, little else is known about the news, but we expect a formal update to land soon.
