Adele Showed Up to the 2023 Grammys Looking Ready to Win Some Awards

Not sure if you've been obsessively chronicling all of Adele's looks at her Las Vegas residency, but her stylist Jamie Mizrahi has been absolutely killing it. However, nothing Adele's worn has come close to the absolute perfection that she chose for the 2023 Grammys red carpet.

Adele showed up to collect her awards (and even perform!) wearing a beautiful velvet crimson gown with a fun shoulder moment and her signature cat-eye complimenting the look.

Not only that, Adele got a very special surprise when host Trevor Noah introduced her to the one celeb that she's always wanted to meet: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

As Pitchfork notes, this is Adele's first time as a Grammy nominee since 2017—which is when she swept the awards, winning Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. And this year she's been nominated for a ton of awards—including Album of the Year for 30, Best Music Film for Adele One Night Only, and Best Pop Solo Performance, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Music Video for "Easy on Me."

By the way, there was previously a rumor that Adele wouldn't be attending the Grammys despite being nominated for seven awards, which she shut down in Vegas.

“Whoever started that rumor is a dickhead, ‘cause I am going to the Grammys,” she said. “I would never miss the Grammys. I would never be as disrespectful to the Grammys or to other artists, and whoever started that little story needs to go and touch some grass, alright? Go and get some fresh air, alright darlings.”

Noted and also "Go and get some fresh air, alright darlings" is how I'll be ending all conversations henceforth.
