Adam Lee updates health, says no broken neck but an annular tear
30 Dec - Adam Lee recently assured that everything is well with him, and that he didn't suffer from a broken neck as previously suspected.
On 28 December, the actor, who revealed earlier that he has been hospitalised for what may be a cervical fracture, shared that the MRI showed that it was not a fracture but an annular tear and trapezius spasm.
"I asked the doctor why the clinic stated that it was a broken bone, the doctor said that doctors would usually give the highest possibility based on X-Ray and that it was better to double confirm it rather than let something bad happen. You can't know for sure with an X-Ray, and you need MRI for that," he posted.
Adam said that the pop he heard during training was possibly due to the annular tear.
"My condition? Still not okay and severe pain (Only God knows how painful) as the healing will take at least a month. Also, I need to be extra careful because if it happens again, I might experience the same pain or even more severe," he said.
But at the same time, Adam said that he and wife Sweet Qismina are grateful that it wasn't cervical fracture, and that they are thankful to everybody who prayed for his well-being. He added that he will only get back to work in February.
