Abby Abadi denies claiming someone uses black magic on daughter
1 Mar - Abby Abadi has recently debunked the idea that she was claiming that 18-year-old daughter Marissa Dania Hakim had been cursed with black magic.
The actress recently took to IG Story to address the issue, after a netizen asked her if she has ever made such a statement before.
"When did I ever say this?" she asked. "Where did you read this? Are these people having a lot of good deeds in life that they can keep slandering me like this?"
The question might have stemmed from the misunderstanding people had over Abby's previous interview with entrepreneur Datuk Seri Aliff Syukri, where she expressed her feelings about her daughter's alleged elopement with married man, Aslam.
"He doesn't have the means to be polygamous," she said about Aslam in a short clip shared on social media. "I swear in God's name, since [Marissa] was a child, that's not the person that she was. It feels like there is something that made her change 360-degrees. It didn't feel like her."
"It was unexpected to me and to her father because we have tried our best in taking good care of her," she added.
