Aaron Yan to make first appearance after #MeToo scandal

11 Jan - It looks like Aaron Yan is paving his way for his comeback by becoming a store manager for a day.

As reported on Mingpao, the Taiwanese singer-actor recently announced via his HOHO's Select brand that he will be making an appearance at his pop-up store in Taichung.

The news was announced via HOHO's official Instagram, which stated, "The owner is officially opening for one day. Date is revealed to be 27 January 2024 at 2pm. Super closeup interactive quiz game with the boss, story sharing and etc."

"I will try my best to serve every customer who comes. Let's make a great shopping experience together," it added.

This will be Aaron's first public appearance at a public event after being caught up in the #MeToo controversy mid last year, sparking excitement among his supporters.

The actor went on a long hiatus previously after he was accused of filming and leaking intimate videos of himself and ex-boyfriend Yao Le. It is noted that the two had a sexual relationship when Yao Le was only 16.

However, some of the criminal charges against him were dropped in December, and the two parties have entered reconciliation stage.
