Aaron Kwok reveals the one movie character that affected him

17 Dec – Aaron Kwok has never had any difficulty leaving his character behind as soon as filming wraps up, except that one time when he played a detective suspected of murder in the 2009 movie, "Murderer".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who shared his experience in acting at a forum held by the Hong Kong Film Critics Association, stated that the character he played in the movie really affected him that he began dreaming of murdering people in his dream.

"As soon as I woke up, I felt extremely fearful. I was asking myself if I really did murder someone. It was a relief to realise that it was just a dream." he said.

Asked if he ever visited a psychiatrist because of the dream, Aaron said that it didn't go that far.

"I know how to pull away from my characters. I could play sports and go on a race. But it's easier to leave my movie characters now that I have become a father. As soon as I come home and my daughters call me "Papa", I would forget everything," he said.
