2024 has just started but it also means that spring is coming soon, and spring means it’s the time to see cherry blossoms (again)!

As hanami (flower viewing) is a popular spring activity in Japan, it’s best if you book your flights, your accommodation and even your cherry blossom tour as soon as you can. On one hand, you can guarantee your slots; on the other, you can save some money compared to booking everything last minute.

While the cherry blossom forecast is not out yet, cherry blossoms usually bloom in Japan’s Honshu (Tokyo, Osaka, etc.) between late March and early April. You can refer to last year’s forecast as a guide. Keep in mind that cherry blossoms last for about two weeks after reaching full bloom.
