Growing up in Singapore, our neighbours in Southeast Asia are probably the first few countries we’d visit. At times, it may even feel like we know Southeast Asia very well. From the street foods in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to the night markets of Bangkok, Thailand, to the beaches in Bali, Indonesia, it seems there’s nothing more this region can offer. But the world is so huge; we’re bound to miss some less explored places.

1. Kelabit Highlands, Malaysia
