1. HoliFest Malaysia 2025
HoliFest returns for its 5th edition in 2025, bringing an explosion of colour and energy to Car Park B, Stadium Bukit Jalil on 3 May (Sat), from 3pm to 9pm.
Celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi, this vibrant event marks the arrival of spring, symbolising love, unity, and new beginnings through music, dance, and the iconic tradition of throwing coloured powder and paint.
Attendees can look forward to an electrifying atmosphere, featuring curated live DJ sets and an immersive festival experience. The official lineup will be announced soon.

2. KL International Book Fair (PBAKL) 2025
Malaysia’s biggest annual book fair, the KL International Book Fair (PBAKL), returns to WTC Kuala Lumpur from 23 May to 1 June 2025 (10am – 10pm). Anticipated by bookworms every year, PBAKL drew over 1.8M visitors in 2024!

3. The Music Run Kuala Lumpur 2025

For the runners who can’t survive a treadmill session without a Netflix show in one ear and music in another, The Music Run KL 2025 is back to turn your 5km marathon into a high-energy, music-fuelled experience.
Set for 17 May 2025 (Sat), at Stadium Bukit Jalil, the run kicks off at 4.15pm, with speakers blasting tunes along the route to keep your adrenaline pumping. Expect 3 live music performances along the way, building up to a full-on music festival at 7.30pm.

Tickets start at RM99, and runners will receive a sleek green race kit, including an event T-shirt, foam glow stick, medal, run bib, tattoo sticker, and drawstring bag. (Sure, BRAT summer may be over with a Grammy to top it off, but the legacy lives on.)

The Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) is a 3-day celebration of global music, culture, and nature, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Santubong in Kuching, Sarawak.

8. LAMPU 2025
Putrajaya is home to spectacular annual attractions, and one of its most dazzling events, Light & Motion Putrajaya (LAMPU), is set to return from 30 Dec 2025 to 1 Jan 2026.
Over these 3 nights, designated areas of the city will be closed to traffic, transforming into a breathtaking spectacle of sound and light with stunning projections illuminating some of Putrajaya’s most iconic landmarks.
The highlight of the festival is the light mapping show, where the Istana Kehakiman is brought to life with vibrant colours and mesmerising visuals. 9. Comic Fiesta 2025
Malaysia is home to countless cosplay, anime, and comic events, but none come close to the scale and excitement of Comic Fiesta — the country’s biggest and most highly-anticipated pop culture convention.
Comic Fiesta 2024 (CF2024) wrapped up with a record-breaking 70K visitors, making it one of the most successful editions yet. Fans were treated to appearances by high-profile talents, including performers, voice actors (seiyuus), and more, creating an unforgettable experience for anime, gaming, and comic enthusiasts.

For 2025, LEGOLAND Malaysia is set to unveil an exciting new addition to its iconic MINILAND — a life-sized LEGO masterpiece honouring one of Southeast Asia’s most famous landmarks.

11. De Windmills, Langkawi
Rumours of Langkawi losing its charm as a tourist destination? The island itself would beg to differ! Introducing De Windmills, also known as the Selfie Park, the latest gem in Langkawi’s ever-growing list of attractions.
Nestled amidst Kedah’s iconic endless paddy fields, De Windmills is a vibrant, picture-perfect escape. As its name suggests, it features a majestic windmill along with thousands of colourful paper windmills, creating a whimsical atmosphere. But that’s not all — visitors can also enjoy a giant swing, a massive bird’s nest, and a hot air balloon, making it the perfect spot for aesthetic snapshots.
