Zoie Tam returns to work four months after having baby

11 Feb – Zoie Tam has recently made her first appearance in public following the birth of her first child to promote her new drama, "The Forgotten Day".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who has successfully shed her pregnancy weight four months after giving birth to daughter Gabri, shared that the said drama was her last work prior to giving birth. She was happy that her first appearance since becoming a mother was to promote it.

Speaking about her acting career, Zoie said that nothing has changed, and that she will begin working on the sequel to the 2020 drama, "Brutally Young" soon.

"I hope to be able to balance my work with my family life," she added.

Zoie married her husband Enrico Chong in March last year after an eight-year relationship. The happy couple welcomed their first child last October.

Asked if her husband has no issue with her working during the pandemic and coming home to their baby, Zoie stated that her husband has been very supportive and only told her to be careful.

"My co-stars Shaun Tam and Joel Chan also have babies at home, so I don't think that there will be any problem. My mum will take care of the baby while I'm away, but of course I will make sure to be there for her as much as I can, since she is growing and has started to recognise people," she said.
