Zoe Yu feels sorry for sister's breakup
22 Jun – Hong Kong starlet Zoe Yu recently admitted that she is saddened by allegations made by netizens towards her sister, singer-actress Jennifer Yu following the latter's breakup with "Daddy Cool" star, Carlos Chan.
As reported on Mingpao, Zoe, who spoke to the media in TVB City following the recording of "Cooking Beauties" recently, shared that most of the claims made against Jennifer were not true and that both she and Carlos have already denied it.
"But you can't control what people want to say, but their relationship is their own personal affair. They've made their own decision to focus on their careers," she said.
Zoe added that she is close to her elder sister, and that they have already sat down and talked about it.
"She feels much better now and is now focused on her work," she added.
As to Jennifer's previous statement that she is opening a restaurant with a group of friends including businessman Victor Hui, whom she was linked with following the breakup, Zoe admitted that she knew nothing about it at first and only finding out about it through the media.
