Zhou Xun's new short film goes to Berlin International Film Festival
18 Jan - Zhou Xun's new movie is set to compete at the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale).
As reported on Phoenix News, the movie, titled "All Tomorrow's Parties", will be a part of the Berlinale Shorts 2023.
The movie, directed by Zhang Dalei and co-starring Wang Yibo and Chang Chen, is set in China during the 1990 Asian Games. The synopsis read, "A cinema screening is taking place at a factory in the evening. The janitor distributes the limited tickets while a shy poet waits for someone. A gently told, nostalgic portrait."
Zhou Xun's last movie was the 2022 "Hero". She is also set to appear in the espionage thriller "Hidden Blade", which will be released on Lunar New Year.
