Zhen Zhen undergoes surgery for skin cancer?
7 Oct - Taiwanese veteran actress Zhen Zhen has recently undergone a surgery to remove her skin cancer.
As reported on Mingpao News, the actress, who spoke to the media regarding her condition, stated that she just had her surgery in the United States, although it was not as serious as previous reports made it to be.
"Thank you for your concern. It was just a minor surgery on my arm. I just changed the dressing on the wound, so it couldn't hurt more," she said.
Zhen Zhen stated that her son Jeremy was with her the entire surgery, that took only three hours to complete.
Previously, it was reported that Zhen had a bug bite wound that failed to heal, and it was after she went to the doctor in the US that she was told that it was actually skin cancer.
It is natural for the actress to think that it's just a minor issue. The 68-year-old previously underwent a more serious gastrectomy after a tumour was found in her stomach.
