Zhang Ziyi makes variety debut in "Viva La Romance"
22 Jan – It was reported that Zhang Ziyi is making her variety show debut through the Chinese travelogue series, "Viva La Romance".
As reported on Xinhua, the "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" actress reportedly will be joining original cast member Xie Na, as well as several new additions including Anita Yuen and Jenny Zhang.
And if the show follows the first season's premise, her husband Wang Feng is expected to make an appearance on the show as well.
While this would be the first variety show where Zhang is the cast member, this is not the actress' first television show. It is noted that the actress is one of the mentors in the reality show, "The Birth of Actors".
Hosted by Matilda Tao, "Viva La Romance" follows four female celebrities as they embark on romantic adventures and share their own personal stories throughout their journey.
The first season starred Cherrie Ying, Ying Er, and Cheng Lisha.
