Zhang Yishan says no to new season of "Back to Youth"

17 Aug - Although he previously gave a positive answer to the idea of returning for the second season of "Back to Youth", actor Zhang Yishan recently shared that he has changed his mind about doing a reality show again.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actor, who sat down for an interview recently, shared that due to his health issue, he prefers to do one thing at a time, and that means he would always choose filming a drama or a movie over doing reality shows.

Zhang said that while he is grateful for the opportunity to star in "Back to Youth" - the show that helped him regain his popularity, he has decided not to do reality shows in the future.

Admitting to have been "sick for a long time", Zhang said that it is too tiring for him to shoot such a show, even if the producer is interested in getting him back for the next season.

"Back to Youth", produced by Zhejiang TV, is inspired by the Japanese variety show, "Vs. Arashi", in which five idol members - Zhang Yishan, Darren Wang, Dong Zijian, Liu Haoran, and Wang Jungkai, have to complete various indoor and outdoor challenges.
