Zax Wang to host Mickey Huang's show temporarily

30 Jun – Following rumours that Mickey Huang will be returning to work in hosting his show, "Big Boss", the show recently released a statement of its own on the fate of the project.

As reported on TVBS, on 29 June, the show posted an announcement saying, "Due to the many incidents in the film and television industry that have occurred in mid-June, the program had decided to suspend recording in mid-June, and made large-scale adjustments to the invited guests and program structure, and will also re-enter the studio on 6 July."

In addition, the show stated that the show will temporarily be hosted by Zax Wang instead of Mickey.

"Thank you again for all the friends who care about and support us. We will work harder and hope to bring you better programme content. We also hope to use this to clarify the misunderstanding and avoid anyone's distress," the statement added.

It is noted that there hasn't been much news about Mickey ever since he was hospitalised following his shocking exposé, where he accused at least 18 stars of misconduct. The decision to do so was made after he himself was accused of committing sexual harassment in the past.
