Zanilia Zhao shares first personal photo with AFA accolade
13 Mar - Zanilia Zhao recently took to social media to share her first photo with her new and first ever AFA accolade.
The actress, who was honoured with the AFA Next Generation Award at the Asian Film Awards recently, posted a picture of her playing with the trophy as she stood in front of the background of the Hong Kong nightlife.
"Thank you," she wrote in the caption, adding the rose and heart emojis.
It is noted that Zanilia is the first Chinese actress to win the award, which recognises outstanding achievements by the next generation of talents in Asia who continue to strive for breakthroughs and progress.
At the same event, Zanilia was also reunited with her "Article 20" director Zhang Yimou, who was also honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Other stars who have been honoured with the AFA Next Generation Award includes Im Yoon-ah, Kim Jae-joong, and Ji Chang-wook, the latter who won last year.
