Zanilia Zhao elated over Feitian Award win

25 Sep - Zanilia Zhao couldn't help but feel moved and elated over winning her first ever Flying Apsaras Award (aka Feitian Award).

Winning the Outstanding Actress accolade for her performance in "Wild Bloom", the actress took to Weibo on 22 September and expressed, "Thank you. Thank you for every work in the past, thank you for everyone who supports me, and I hope that all the comments for me will turn into the best wishes."

"Every step on the podium was trance. I wish I could carry so many expectations and blessings. I wish I could keep moving forward and bring more diverse female characters to the audience," she added.

In "Wild Bloom", Zanilia plays the role of Xu Banxia, a woman who overcomes obstacles to be in the male-dominated steel industry.

Prior to Zanilia winning the accolade, many speculated that Tiffany Tang will win the award for her performance in the Wong Kar Wai series, "Blossoms Shanghai".
