Zamarul Hisham rushed to ICU after on-set health scare
6 Feb - Zamarul Hisham has been hospitalised in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a medical centre in Negeri Sembilan following a medical emergency on set.
The incident occurred during the filming of his new drama, where he experienced severe breathing difficulties.
His wife, Diana Rafar, received immediate notification from the production team who had called for emergency medical assistance. "They contacted the ambulance to get my husband to the nearest hospital. Luckily, I was already [in Negeri Sembilan] with the kids to accompany him and we had planned to go on holiday at the same time," Diana shared.
While the 53-year-old actor remains under observation in the ICU, Diana provided a reassuring update on his condition, stating, "He is able to breath as normal now. But the doctor is still treating him to find out the reason why he had breathing difficulty."
