Zamani determined to perform his best for Slam concert
2 Dec – Despite his medical condition, singer Zamani Ibrahim is determined to do his best for the upcoming concert that will reunite him with his rock band, Slam.
The 50-year-old singer, who has been suffering from scoliosis, told the media that he is confident about his ability to entertain the fans who have been waiting for the "Mentari Muncul Lagi" show, which has been delayed for more than a year due to the pandemic.
"The condition still exists. It involves the nerves and I can still feel the pain if it's pinched. It does bother me when performing," he said. "But I don't want to make it an excuse, because people have been generous with me and my condition is getting better."
Zamani also revealed that he is now undergoing traditional treatment as an alternative to ensure that he will be able to perform to the best of his ability at the concert.
The upcoming concert will be held at the Plenary Hall in KLCC on 12 February 2022.
