Zainal Abidin Hassan: Yes, I had a meal with my former second wife
23 Aug – Former football coach Datuk Zainal Abidin Hassan recently confirmed that he and Fyna Jebat are still very much divorced.
The IFC Tehcnical Director clarified the issue when he appeared as a guest on Astro Arena's "Nindia Bola", after he and Fyna were photographed having a meal together at a restaurant, sparking rumours that they have reconciled.
"That was me. I went to see my former second wife. We have separated in a peaceful manner," he said. "We went for a meal and settled some issues."
When the host mentioned that netizens were quick to judge, Zainal responded, "It's normal."
However, fans of the show were unamused by the question to Zainal, seeing that it was a sports programme and not a gossip entertainment show.
"What kind of a question is that? This is not the kind of thing to be asked on a sports channel. This is not Melodi," one netizen commented.
"This is not professional. Why ask personal questions?" another added.
