Z.TAO cancels Guangzhou show due to health concern

13 Nov - Chinese singer Huang Zitao (stylised Z.TAO) recently had to cancel his concert in Guangzhou due to health issues.

As reported on Sohu, the singer and former EXO member, who was originally scheduled to perform in the city on 17 November, was revealed to have suffered from persistent high fever.

Said his management, his health situation has caused inflammation of his respiratory system and consequently led to the loss of his voice.

In order to ensure the high-level performance of the overall show, it was decided by the management to cancel the performance on the 17th, but that the performance on the 18th will be held as scheduled.

Following backlash from concertgoers, the studio apologised yet again, and said that the refunds will be coordinated accordingly.

"Recently, artistes are also actively cooperating with treatment and striving to return to their condition as soon as possible to provide everyone with a good concert experience. As the season changes recently, the flu gets serious. Everyone should pay more attention to your health," they added.
