Young UK-based viral star Fatimah Omar continues hospital treatment
3 Jan - The family of 11-year-old Fatimah Omar Mukhlis, who went viral a few years ago for her fluency in Kelantanese dialect, has finally shared an update on her current condition.
Nearly six months after their last post about the social media darling, the family via eldest son Omar Mokhtar shared a video showing Fatimah still getting her treatment in hospital and doing various activities as a part of her treatment.
"This year has tested our family in ways no one will ever fully understand, but through every challenge, we persevered. By the grace of Allah, we are back, having faced the toughest of times together, praying together, and loving together, as well as being blessed with the thoughts and prayers of all you lovely people," said Omar.
"Thank you for seeing us through to the other side. We are going into this next year hand in hand with our heads held high - may Allah acknowledge the resilience each one of us has displayed, and pave the way into 2025," he added.
It was revealed that Fatimah has been hospitalised since March 2024, but the family has declined to share details about her illness to the public.
Fatimah went viral some years back for speaking fluently in Kelantanese dialect despite being born and living in Birmingham, UK.
