"Young Babylon" to premiere on 29 April

26 Apr - The new Tencent Video drama "Young Babylon" is set to be released on 29 April.

As reported on Phoenix, the new drama, which will also premiere on Mango TV, is adapted from Lu Nei's novel of the same name, and stars Ora Yang and Neo Hou in the leads.

It tells the story of a group of wayward young people pursuing love, friendship, dreams and growth in a small southeastern coastal town in the 1990s. The perspective of youth reflects the changes of the times, and young people pursuing their dreams to show their vigorous spirit.

Ora plays Bai Lan, an educated youth who has lots of aspirations and is unwilling to be ordinary; while Neo is Lu Xiaolu, a young man who remains free and unrestrained despite having to work in a food factory after failing his college entrance examinations.

Bai Lan yearns for life in a big city and wants to get out of Fucheng through exams and studies. Her hard work deeply affects Lu Xiaolu, making him start to look at himself and regain the motivation to move forward.
