Yolanda Hadid Babysits Daughter Gigi Hadid’s Newborn Baby
Yolanda Hadid babysat daughter Gigi Hadid’s baby girl while Gigi returned to work.

Yolanda Hadid is putting her grandma skills to work once again. Two months after welcoming her daughter, Gigi Hadid is going back to the “office” and leaving her bb girl in the capable hands of her mama, Yolanda. Yolanda posted a photo spending some quality time with her granddaughter.
“We spent the day while mama was away,” she wrote in a sweet Instagram Story. She also tagged Gigi in the post and made sure to shield her granddaughter’s face (we have yet to see a full pic of baby Zigi). Gigi also posted a selfie to her Instagram Story, writing, “Would say back 2 work BUT bein’ a mama is a job like no otherrrr.” She added, “BACK IN THE OFFICE.” Which, like, TRUTH. Being a parent is no joke (we’re sure dad Zayn Malik would agree).
Yolanda is clearly *loving* having a new baby in the house. She recently shared an adorable picture holding the baby’s hand and included a touching caption. “My heart is expending with so much love and joy for this little baby girl she is an angel sent to us from above...” she wrote. “Thank you Mommy & Daddy for making me an Oma, I love every minute of it.”
Yolanda’s excitement has been so big that she even confirmed in an interview with the Dutch TV program RTL Boulevard when Gigi was expected to give birth. BuzzFeed translated the original quotes and reported Yolanda saying:
“Still shocked our little secret got leaked to the press. Of course we are so excited. I’m excited to become Oma in September especially after I lost my mom so recently. But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed.”
Now, that’s one proud Oma!
