If you would've told Lainey Wilson a few years ago that she'd be working with Tractor Supply , a brand known for its farming supplies and clothing, searching for America's next big country star, well, there's a good chance she would've looked at you like you're crazy. Yet, here we are experiencing the success of the 30-year-old Louisiana native as she paves her way in the industry with her "bell bottom country."

The two-time CMA Awards winner has partnered with the brand to officially add "Tractor Supply Brand Ambassador" to her ever-growing resume. Lainey and fellow artists Jimmie Allen, Dustin Lynch, Ashley McBryde, and Kat & Alex are teaming up to be part of the "Emerging Artists Program."

Just like the name suggests, the program is looking for the next generation of country music talent, and with Lainey as a celebrity mentor, we know we're in for a real treat. "I want to be friends with whoever I mentor for the rest of forever and I want to guide them. I want to give them advice and lift them up because at the end of the day, that's what it's all about," the Yellowstone actress tells Country Living.

Up until March 15, emerging talents can submit their original song here, but Lainey made it clear that, "[she's] definitely looking for somebody who didn't just decide yesterday."

"First of all, find whatever it is that you're strongest at—it could be songwriting, it could be singing, it could be your personality, it could be your look—and get really strong at that. Lead with that foot and the other things will come along, and you'll find the right people to be in your corner," she advised.

As a southern girl who grew up on a farm and "was on a horse before [she] could even walk," partnering with Tractor Supply was second nature. Her ad, featuring an original song, aired during the Yellowstone season 5 premiere, and now that she's joined the cast of the show, things have certainly come full circle for Lainey.

And speaking of her time on Yellowstone, although excited to work with Taylor Sheridan, she admitted that she was "scared to death" during her inaugural day on set. Her first scene was with Kelly Reilly who plays Beth Dutton, so we can't really blame her. "I mean she's British, and I sound the way that I do, so we needed a translator at certain points, but we became great friends," she joked.

As for her character, Abby, well, she's not really sure what the future of the show holds for her. "I have realized that the film world is just as crazy as the music world and some things happen last minute."

In the meantime, when she's not busy looking for new talent with Tractor Supply, she admitted she would love to work her way to one day be on the Saturday Night Live stage.

Fingers crossed!
