Yang Zishan says no to reality shows
9 Aug – Although big stars like Brigitte Lin and Zhao Wei have no qualms about doing reality shows, Chinese actress Yang Zishan said that she is not one to get herself involved in the whole trend.
As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who starred in movies like "So Young", "20 Once Again", and "One Night Only", stated that she is not interested in anything else that revolves around showbiz except for acting.
"Although it is easier to get exposure from doing it, and it pays a lot, it's not a job that an actor should do," she said.
Yang revealed that there were staff of her agency who wanted her to participate in such shows, which led to a heated dispute between the two sides.
"I made it clear that I will not express myself in variety shows," she said.
