Yang Zi's fans irked by new promo clip of "Cheng Huan Ji"
2 Apr - Fans of Yang Zi recently expressed annoyance over the recent promotional poster of her new drama, "Cheng Huan Ji" due to her placement in the poster.
In a recent post shared by the production studio, Yang can be seen sitting at the furthest right, while her leading man Xu Kai was positioned on the furthest left.
Meanwhile, Yao Anlian and He Saifei, who play the parents are positioned in the middle while the actors who play her younger brother and sister-in-law sat behind them.
While many didn't see any problem in how they were positioned as it was supposed to portray a family portrait, many of Yang Zi's fans expressed anger over it, seeing that both Yang Zi and Xu Kai are the leads. This was made worse when the two stars were cut off from view when the poster is viewed in portrait mode.
Adapted from Yi Shu's novel of the same name, "Cheng Huan Ji" tells the story of a post-95 Shanghai girl who breaks away from her mother's control to become a career woman, as well as the reshaping of a mother-daughter relationship.
