Yang Xiu-hui quits first show after expressing thoughts of resignation

6 Feb - After previously expressing her intention to resign from her shows one by one, Taiwanese TV personality Yang Xiu-hui announced that she is departing from her Dali TV show, "Taiwan Xin Ke Pan".

Explaining her decision to Dali TV general manager Liu Jia-rong, Yang stated that she is tired both physically and mentally, having to work and take care of her ailing parents.

"I had to drive to Taichung early in the morning to record three scenes. Then I had to record another show the next day. I'd be physically exhausted when I just wanted to make some time for my parents," she said.

Yang said that she will do the last show in March before departing.

It is noted that the comedienne previously revealed her intention on social media, writing,

"Actually, to be honest, my father has difficulties wearing shoes, why do I still need my acting job? I only have one request (to resign). I'm sorry to everyone who loves me. I really just want to be with my parents."
