Yang Mi voices character in China's "Kung Fu Panda 4" release
1 Mar - Yang Mi recently announced that she will be voicing a "Kung Fu Panda 4" character for the China release of the movie.
On 28 February, the actress shared a clip of her character, which is a corsac fox named Zhen, writing, "A unique experience to share with you. The new character of #KungFuPanda4, the fox Xiao Zhen is here."
"I hope this little fox with extraordinary skills and extraordinary intelligence can melt your heart. The movie will be released on 9 March. Come to the theatre and follow Zhen and me on this unique adventure!" she expressed.
The character is a thief who accompanies the giant panda Po on his latest journey. The original Hollywood version in English is voiced by actress-comedian Awkwafina.
This is the first voice acting job for Yang Mi after eight years. She last lent her voice for the character Mei Mei in "Kung Fu Panda 3".
Aside from Yang Mi, other voice actors include Huang Bo and Jiang Xin.
