Yang Mi rumoured to be dating Wei Daxun
9 Aug – Chinese actress Yang Mi has been romantically linked to another actor, this time to Wei Daxun - a fellow member of her variety show, "Great Escape".
As reported on ET Today, some netizens recently shared that they had spotted the actor with a female companion at the Beijing 798 Art Zone. Both were hiding their faces behind face masks and were wearing matching shoes.
They also shared photos taken of the couple and revealed that the man seemed nervous when he realised that they were being watched.
Other eagle-eyed netizens also noticed that while the photos were of their backs, the woman had a small mark on her left leg that looked similar to Yang Mi's own birthmark.
Although representatives of both parties have declined to comment on the matter, on 8 August, Wei took to Weibo and clarified, "Just hanging out with a friend. Thank you for your concern."
Prior to her latest romance rumours, Yang, whose marriage with Hawick Lau ended last year, was romantically linked to several actors including Hong Kong star Nicholas Tse.
