Yan Ng launches third rice ball shop in Mongkok

9 Dec – Hong Kong singer Yan Ng has recently opened up the third branch of her rice ball place, Sweet Bandott.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who attended the launch held in Mongkok recently, shared that the shop was originally scheduled to open in November, but had to be postponed due to the ongoing protests.

"Although it's a simple ceremony, the most important thing is that everybody is happy," she said about the launch.

Asked if the civil unrest in Hong Kong has affected her business, Yan admitted that it had greatly been affected by the situation, but that she hopes to go through the difficult times with the citizens.

The singer also took to social media to share a photo of her with her husband and their daughter Bea in front of the store, writing, "Bea was born when the Causeway Bay shop was opened last year. This year, she can finally witness the launch with the opening of the third branch in Mongkok. Happy to grow with Bea."
