Xian Lim wants to direct a film starring girlfriend Kim Chiu
29 Jul - Although he is now directing his next film, "Hello, Universe", Xian Lim recently admitted that he would love to direct his girlfriend in a movie.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actor, who spoke about his directing career, shared that he would opt to direct Kim Chiu in a rom-com, which he said to be their core genre.
"We met each other [through the genre] and we fell in love there too," he said.
Xian stated that the hypothetical movie would be filmed overseas, and that he will also play her leading man, of course.
"In a rom-com, you can draw on a lot of emotions. We are already talking about it," he said.
Asked what Kim thinks about his directorial efforts, Xian said that the actress is very supportive of it.
"She is happy with all the work that I do," he added.
Aside from "Hello Universe", which he also wrote, Xian will also appear in a new movie with Kim, to be produced by Viva Films.
