Wu Kangren arrives in Malaysia for new movie

12 May – Taiwanese actor Wu Kangren (Chris Wu) recently revealed that he has safely arrived in Malaysia.

The actor shared the news on social media on 10 May with a snapshot of the Pudu Market, writing, "Pudu Market, fresh flavours, very rich."

Prior to the said post, Chris shared a photo of him on board a flight, and revealed that his next stop would be Malaysia.

It was reported that the actor is in the country to make preliminary prep work for his new movie "Abang Adik", which will be filmed in June. The said movie is set to be helmed by Jin Ong of "Miss Andy" fame, with Angelica Lee to produce the project.

The said movie is reported to focus on the issue of statelessness in Malaysia through the perspective of two brothers.

This isn't the first time that Chris has been to Malaysia. Back in 2019, he stayed for four months to film the movie "The Ghost Bride", and used his time to travel to Johor Bahru, Taiping, Ipoh and Penang.
