Wu Kang-ren in negotiation with a mainland agency?
26 Sep - Rumours are rife that Wu Kang-ren has recently signed with a mainland entertainment agency.
reported on Oriental Daily, on 23 September, sources claimed that the "Abang Adik" actor has inked a deal with the Chinese agency One Heart Entertainment as a way to broaden his career in the mainland entertainment industry.
However, while he has yet to respond to the rumours, Wu did answer a fan's question about the rumour on 19 September while promoting the aforementioned film.
He said, "I have been in contact with many mainland management companies and many teams, and have always maintained communication. I don't know what the future holds. In fact, I think I will let nature take its course. If possible, I will just follow my feelings. I hope to continue acting so that everyone can see more of the characters and less of myself."
The actor also added that he hasn't had an agent for more than ten years now.
