Wu Jinyan rumoured to be dating "Yanxi Palace" co-star Hong Yao
27 Feb – A new rumour has emerged that Chinese actress Wu Jinyan is now dating her "Story of Yanxi Palace" co-star, Hong Yao.
As reported on Phoenix, the rumours emerged recently, after several netizens claimed to have spotted Wu in Bali with a man resembling the said actor. It is said that Wu's parents were also there with them.
However, there was no photo to accompany the claims.
Despite the lack of evidence, some netizens were confident that this is the case, and went on detective-mode to uncover more "proof" to this claims.
One proof was a photo of Wu holding a coconut with a blurry background of what seemed to be seaside shoplots.
Netizens also pulled out a couple of photos of the two wearing similar looking ring and star-shaped studs.
The two also seemed to have a matching green sweater, which Wu wore at an event in October 2017 and was seen on Hong even before that, as well as a matching jacket when they apppeared on a musical show together.
While there has been no official statement from both parties, Wu recently went on Weibo to share a meme that read, "I am not, I did not, don't talk nonsense."
