Wong Cho Lam's company not taking in too many stars

1 Feb - Wong Cho Lam admitted that there has been a lot of artistes expressing interest to join his company, Tailor Made Productions Limited, but that he is hesitant about taking in too many people.

According to Mingpao, the actor, who has signed many artistes including singer Mag Lam and actress Kate Tsui, stated that he had to decline some of them due to his inability to manage too many people at once.

"I'm afraid I can't do it. I don't want to have a quantity without quality. My biggest fear is to have a company that seems big and powerful, but lacks projects for its artistes. Therefore, I told a lot of them that it's not the time for us to take them in for now," he said.

Wong stated that Tailor Made was established with the idea of a small management company that treats its resident artistes more like family members than as stars.

When asked if there is any conflict with TVB, seeing that most of his stars were part of the station, Wong stated that all of the artistes that joined Tailor Made were so that they could expand their career and try their hands on different kinds of entertainment.

"In fact, we have a good relationship with TVB since we're a sister company," he said.
