Wong Cho Lam won't go astray with Leanne Li around
28 Nov – Hong Kong actor-comedian Wong Cho Lam admitted that it is easy for a man to fall into temptation, which is why it is important for his wife to always be wary of his activities.
As reported on HK01, the actor, who is currently doing a stage play, "The Only King II" - which revolves around a king facing temptations in his life - admitted that the biggest allurement in his life is women; which is why he always has people accompany him when he goes out, including his own wife, Leanne Li.
"I've had women approaching me and wanting to have a deep conversation with me. I would tell them honestly that they should share everything with my wife as well. Sometimes I would even ask Leanne to join me, and tell her everything," he said.
Wong also believed that not being born a handsome man also helped, as it made him less proud.
"Imagine if one has both looks and money? How challenging it is to not be a playboy!" he added.
However, despite his effort to be a good husband, Wong said that he still reminds his wife not to be too relaxed.
"Often women get cheated because they're too relaxed. That's why I need my wife to watch over me," he added.
While some applauded Wong for his honesty, not everybody is amused with the actor's words about women needing to be wary of their husband's conduct.
One netizen commented that women are cheated on because their partners are bad, not because of their complacency.
"Stop pushing the blame onto the women," said another.
On the other hand, another netizen stated that the actor need not remind his wife to be vigilant, as the former Miss Hong Kong could find another man easily if Wong cheated on her.
